- SharePoint Pains and Gains
Microsoft SharePoint is a great product. It has many, very many useful features. And, like most large products, it is not a perfect. The series of blogs highlights some of the areas that I found difficult to configure or that have obvious bugs and design issues. The purpose is to help the community in solving of some of those problems and reach to the Microsoft SharePoint product team with the ideas how to fix them or how to enhance existing functionality. - The Future of the Web and UI-IL: User Interface Intermediate Language
The idea of these blogs is to share my personal vision of the future web development and user interfacing platforms in general. The main idea is to embrace the concept of an intermediate user interface language as an alternative to current HTML, CSS and JavaScript and other web technologies with transpilers for the current web standards into the UI-IL language. Similarly, this can be applied to Windows Forms. Thus, any kind of user interface should be supported at the OS and web browser level with transpilers for the current implementations and extensions to support OS, hardware and tenant specific functionalities.
